Accessibility Guide for deskmy

We are committed to making deskmy accessible to all users. Here is a quick guide on how to navigate and use accessibility features within deskmy:

Basic Steps for Accessibility#

Navigate Media Controls: Use the Tab key to change focus between media controls such as Mic, Camera, and Screen Share. This allows you to easily toggle these features on or off.

Focus on Media Controls: Make sure your focus is on any of the media controls (Mic, Camera, or Screen Share).
Activate Quick Actions: Type k (press the k key once) to open the quick actions feature. A new modal with an input field will appear on your screen.
Select a Room: Type the full name of the room you wish to enter into the input field. The input will already be focused. You can start typing the room name immediately.
Move to the Room: Press 0 to select the room and move to it.

Focus on Media Controls: Make sure your focus is on any of the media controls (Mic, Camera, or Screen Share).
Activate Threads: Type c (press the c key once) to open Threads. All threads and chat messages will be listed.

2.a. Alternative method: You can also use k and type Chat with “name” + 0 to open the chat with a specific user.

Navigate with Arrows: Use arrows to navigate between selected threads and messages.
Sending message: Once you open a thread, the input will already be selected. Just type your message and press Enter to send it.
